Is this SEO Hosting?
We offer our hosting services using Content Delivery Networks from popular providers including Amazon CloudFront, Microsoft Azure, Cloudflare and more. That means that the servers and the IP addresses of those servers aren’t owned by us. They’re in different data centres across the globe, and have unique AS numbers that are owned by our suppliers – not us.
Also, because they are popular Content Delivery Networks, your sites are one of hundreds of thousands of sites using that same pool of IP addresses – therefore, it’s not traditional “SEO Hosting”. In fact, many of the world’s biggest web sites use the same Content Delivery Networks that we do. That’s just one of the ways that we help keep your sites safer.
How do you keep my sites safe?
By using a Content Delivery Network in front of your sites, the IP address for your site will be different depending on where in the world you’re accessing it from. The providers that we use have pools of hundreds of thousands of IP addresses that they use for their CDN services. We also use the name servers from our CDN providers where we can, or other popular third party DNS providers, and use the default SOA email addresses to avoid any footprints.
This is in contrast to using a Dedicated IP for their customer’s sites, as some of our competitors who run their own Virtual Private Servers with DigitalOcean, Vultr and Linode. That creates a “bad IP neighborhood” as all of the sites on that one IP address are sites owned by customers of that PBN host, making it easy to deindex all of the sites on that one IP address.
How do I add a domain to my account?
Please login to your Dashboard and click the “Deploy Blog” button. Our systems will automatically provision it with your chosen Content Delivery Network provider, usually within 5 minutes or less. Once it has been added, you will be able to login to WordPress and get started with building your site.
Can I host WordPress sites? Static HTML? Other CMS?
We offer two types of site options when you deploy – either WordPress or Static HTML. If you choose our WordPress option, you will not get FTP access to the server to protect the security of our hosting environment. If you choose the Static HTML option, you will get FTP access – but no CGI/PHP or other scripts will work on those servers, only Static HTML sites.
How Do I Upgrade My Plan?
Login to your Dashboard, and click “My Plan”. There, you’ll be given the option to change your plan. The system will automatically calculate a pro-rata discount for your current plan and create a new recurring billing subscription via PayPal or Credit Card that has a discounted first month’s fee. It will then cancel your old recurring billing agreement as well.
